Title: F4U-1a skin
Post by: AKDogg on January 11, 2009, 07:51:21 PM
I was wondering if this is a valid skin.  Can't seem to find good info on it.

No.

VF-111 "The SunDowners" was a post war Squadron who took the honors of VF-11 a WW2 unit forward.

Ask yourself, would any sane person paint the enemy colors on their aircraft?  I mean, seriously, they removed the red dot in the center of the insignia to avoid confusion.  The Brits changed their national markings for the same reason.
