was talking with my squad one night
and I thought it would be neat to have like little guys come out to your aircraft on the rearm pad and work on it or somthing
just an idea

Frame Rate issues and the game may have trouble with more then 1 plane on the pad..... Not to mention silly code that might take away from realism........ Fix paratroopers first.
But I feel what your saying and think it would be cool. :rock

That'd be a pain to code. I'd rather see some more detailed FH's and BH's first. Maybe with a "room" inside it with some lights coming from it, alomst like a workshop. Someone did a nice representation of it, I found it pretty neat.

The only thing I would really like to see? Some freekin MAPS in the Maproom!

Yeah, that's about the last thing I want to see HTC spend resources coding.

How about moving legs on our ground troops/paratroopers and giving them the ability to use their guns before we advance this far?

Well, they could make it so that when an A/C approaches the Rearm pad a chock-humpin' plane captain hops out the door of the Rearm shack and starts giving you the approach signal, motioning with both hands above the head. And then when you get to the center of the rearm pad he would give you the brake signal, arms crossed above the head. And then if, instead of stopping, you keep going, they could model in how the prop would cut him in half, and, unfortunately of course, you would not get rearmed. :D But if you did stop and get chocked, then a gas truck could pull up, and bomb carts could be wheeled in place. Course that might make the whole ordeal 4 or 5 minutes, but it might be kinda neat.
Might also consider a crash crew on carriers. Think if you crashed wheels up on a carrier with a belly tank. Flames could engulf you and a crash crew in fire protective gear could start spraying foam on your plane. You couldn't tower out until the flames were out. :D
I am mostly serious (well, a little anyway), but I don't see anything like this coming for at least two weeks.
