I hope these rumors about single pilot formations of bombers are unfounded but, if not, then I certainly believe the option to take a buf out alone should be there.....perhaps a choice in the hangar: single bomber or formation. In addition, the "dumbing down" of the bombsight should also be an option, i.e. do you want a "dispersal/dumbed-down" bombsight, or do you want a precision bombsight like we have now. Choose it in the hangar.

Ehm... Vega... if you could choose what bombsight you wanted... what would be the friggin point of having a new one? Everyone would stick with the accuracy sight we have now, because you can hit a mouse from 20K alt spot-on. The whole thing about the new sight is that it makes bombing harder. I thought that you, being the CO of the largest AH bomb squadron would understand...
I agree about the formation though.

I read it thus:
Select formation you get advanced bombsight, select single bomber you get a choice of bombsights.
vega, good point, I just realized that if formation is the only choice and 3 or 4 guys just want to fly their own formation without dragging along all the drones it would be impossible.
Whatever HTC does I am looking forward to 1.09, the whining alone will be worth the price.

give us a 'real' nordon bombsite,in b17 2, they are alot more fun,than the LGBS we have at the mo

Agreed Vega although my opinion will probably be construed as biased ;) . There is one thing about the "formation bombing drone" stuff that I would like to see though. Give us the ability to man the drone guns with other people. You would retain control over flight, bombing and your own gun positions. You'd just have other squaddies and such protecting his own drone. I'd also suggest that riding/gunning in a drone would give you a piece of the bombing score at conclusion of the sortie.
