Title: connection problem only in the main arena

it seems that when i log in too AH, all the arenas give me the same ping readout, but if i log to the MA i get horrible lag and eventually get discoed, when i log to the DA for example all is fine and the connection run smoothly.

im clueless and frustrated, please help

Where do you live (Nearby town or your state will suffice)? Do you use Dial-Up, DSL, Wireless, Satellite, Cable, or T1 («- unlikely)? Could we get a ping-plotter output that ran a trace for 15 minutes on the MA IP after one of these disconnection events?

Israel, packet-loss could be a problem with all the hops from almost the other half of the earth. Could we have a Ping-Plotter output, please?

And remember: Run a trace for 15 minutes on the MA IP Address that you disconnected from promptly after you're disconnected.

Could be timing out on the connection due to more data needed for the Late War mains.  IF you are preloading textures or skins, disable them and see if it makes a difference.

skuzzy, sometimes the disco occours after 5 minutes or more, is it still related to preloading?
edit: well i cancel the preloading, still discos  :frown:

whats the IP of the MA for that pingploter thingi?

Do you get a message about losing UDP and switching to TCP?

Yes, the arena is still being loaded for a bit after you are in the tower.  Any of that data being missed will cause a disco.

a new occurrence, today i managed to log on and stay connected smoothly to the MA, but after half an hour or more i get discoed with no early warning, no loss of UDP or any thing to indicate the incoming disco

Did you run a PingPlotter trace on the MA IP for 15 minutes after you disconnected?

That is a hard disco then.  Basically it means either the Internet connection dropped momentarily, or your computer experienced resource issues it could not overcome and had to shut down the game.  Those are the normal things I can attribute to it, but they may not be the only things.

sorry for the punt but i am getting frustrated.
my problem again:

i cannot fly in the MA only in the DA, TA, or SEA although they are on the same servers.
im on the verge of switching ISP but i dont even know if it will help my problem.

idea?
