Here are a few Amateur (with a capital ‘A’!) pictures I snapped over the holidays. None of them have been shopped other than resizing them for upload. Wish I had better equipment and know-how cause these sunsets were amazing. These pics don’t do them justice.

I have to agree with you. I wish you had better cameras and lenses to capture more beauty in that sunset. That's still some very decent photography of a glorious sunset. :aok

Bad equipment or not, those are some nice shots. Reminds me of some of the Phoenix sunsets I miss so much. Thanks for posting!

rally nice colors
your next piece of equipment should be tripod , you cant do sunsets without it. Even cheapest one you can get. And of course camera in manual mode

Thanks guys! I’ve seen a few sunsets but the sky was on fire at dusk for about 4 days, simply incredible. These were taken with my little Sony cybershot camera. A tripod would have been nice since I was trying to stabilize the camera free hand or on top of fence posts. Gonna have to be more prepared next time :)
