Would you also like to have aerial support, along the lines of fighters to kill the IL-2's when they find you?

Think that's the purpose of the 105 Squadron. Wouldn't mind though having some Jugs to go with it to help with CAP.

I dunno, I was thinking some Hellcats or Ki-61s.

This is primarily a ground assault.

Members of 105 squadron will probably be hand selected.
I want to keep their participation out of the Mission Editor.

In addition, there willl be other air elements that I have not
included on the published table of organization due to their
sensitive nature.

I don't want to ignore the ground vehicle guys!  Since
mentioning this in-game to several people, there has been
unanimous support for the idea.  In fact, a great many people
have even expressed some excitement about this!

Missions of the Month [MoM] are supposed to be something
different and a departure from the same old dog and pony
show we get day after day in the main arenas. 
I hope this GV-based MoM turns out to be fun for everyone!

Let me tell you about combined-arms.


You will not fail. A well-timed combined-arms mission only requires at bare minimum, 3 tanks, 1 troop runner, and 4 fighters. With good pilots, you won't lose.


With 45 tanks, 60 wirblies, 24 troop runners, 10 fighters, and your mystery planes, you won't EVER loose.
