Title: Commando Raids

Alternative to troops, have commandos. When released these guys take down the ack and/or shore battery.
Delivered by C-47, LVT-2 ... and maybe even a submarine?

nice idea,but we have plenty of stuff to take down acks and shore battery. Subs are a loooong way off yet,if we get them at all. Still waiting for more animation in the troops we have

Not too sure about this one........

Only because of the scoring system.  It would need a major revamp.  Automated commando's killing ack.... Where does the points go?  Pilot didnt destroy anything so no points?

Stop and ask yourself would you rather bring a C47 or an M3 all that way to release troops nad have them do some rinky dink damage like take out ack, etc, or bring in your favorite ground pounder and do it instead?

Believe me, I understand wanted to add in a few more dynamics to the game but the current coding of the pilot zombies we have for troops isnt going to changed nor be updated to perform the duties you describe.

First things first: update the troops model and THEN code in a different task.   ;)
