What would you folks like to see for a one-week setup?

Something Eastern Front, without Spits. :)

I think Soda has that covered after next week. So pick something else please.

Then I'm at a loss. I'd suggest an early PTO with P-40s and F4Fs vs Zeroes, but we just had a PTO, so...

BoB or BoF?

Big Week.
February 20-26, 1944

how about a late '43/early '44 Channel setup? Ya know, the Rhubarb Ops pre d-day.
Spit8, tiff, p-38G, p-47d11/25, p-51b, mossie, boston, a20g, B-26
109g6/14, Fw190a5/8, Me110G, ju88

Anything with P38 is preferable.
-
Anything without a P-38 is just as good. :)

I don't think the G14 would be in there.

how about something with a matched plane set??

Anything with a P-47

All excellent ideas, thank you. I picked a variant of Shane's suggestion, which is pretty close to the Bigweek plane set but which also allows Spitfires to be employed historically. Research done awhile ago (Guppy) showed that there were no 38Gs at this time - the two P-38 groups were flying J models. Similarly, the P-47D-25 didn't come into service until February or March.
The plane set will be a slight challenge to the Axis side, I think, but these are the planes the Germans were flying at this time.

Fjords! Mossies! **Sub the Mossie with 38G's :t ""
I'd like to see the Fjords first, and more Japanese v USAAF/USN especially if the 38 is involved. No reason to not have the real life highest ranking Aces squads honored thus.
