Post by: Chalenge on January 16, 2009, 08:01:53 PM
Just Flight was asked by the BBC to recreate the Hudson River ditching and that video is supposed to be on the BBC tonight. If anyone sees it on and records it please upload to youtube.  :D

Gotta have made a big splash if it really slowed to a stop that quick.

The FSX collision model wont allow it to progress through the ditch any further then what you see in the video. If they had more time they could have added an invisible runway and removed the spark effects and things like that. I think it does what they needed it for.

Alright, I thought this was an in-house professional simulation.

I went there, and it's a good link---but what is FSX?  Is it a software game?  Box game?  Online game?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can get it online, I know there are online elements to it, though.
