Title: Terrain issue

the Beta terrain is obviously too small (IMHO) for the planeset we have now VS the one we had during beta. Too many Vehicule Bases near to each other... Terrain is smaller, but it now takes a much longer time to take a field.

Why not use the SEA terrains ?(Even edited if too big).

My 2 cents worth...

I think med terrain would be good, but my computer really dislikes it (I get an average of 5-6 FPS when dogfighting which is impossible to shoot anything down, whereas in MA at the moment I get 11+ when close to other planes). But it would be good for the majority of players I guess.

I actually like the beta terrain.  Had a hell of a lot of fun trying to fight some (i think all) of the Rookies off at A24.  Had some great tank sorties, Jabo sorties, and a few A2A sorties.  There was plenty of air action going on at the K'niggit side of the map earlier in my evening too.

Of course, I'd probably have fun in the Med terrain too  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I would rather have a different terrain too.  I'm not exactly looking forward to the endless Ostwind madness this map brings/forces.  Last night I logged off after I found that EVERY base the Knights had (except base 1) or were attacking had no less than 2 or 3 Ostwinds approaching it, or already there.  What's real fun is when the Ostwinds park right in the middle of the runway and vulch planes landing and taking off.

You're most likely not going to be seeing either of the current terrains after 1.05, so it's pretty much pointless to be squeaking about it.  Wake up people!  Why would they go back to an oceanless terrain after the Navy has been implemented?
