I mite submit this is the screenshot contest although still unsure if this much editing is allowed if so... this will not be the final product i turn it.

Looks great.  Only thing that stands out to me is that the highlights on the broken wing tips (both sides) are too bright and take away from the photo-realism department.

Being a "good" photoshop artist is not about how many filters or tools or layers you use.  It is about how you create it and why it is. 

I'm sure you'll figure this out soon,"The underlying game content that the screenshot is based upon cannot be changed, i.e. you can’t add or replace the underlying content of the screenshot."  If you try to understand where HTC are going with this, I'm sure you'll create a winner in the artistic section of the contest.

That would look impressive framed and matted on your wall next to your computer!

The highlights are user created probably with a layer mask.  Should be a fairly simple edit.

weazely, it looks great so far!

My tip would be that the sea in the background (especially on the left hand side of the picture) appears to be coloured in chunks which takes away from the image overall.

What's so cool about it is...the original screenshot had a 109 with the full wing...he did the breaking apart himself  :)
