Here is a short (less than 2 minute) .ahf film involving a C47 and some trees.

Okay, that link is crap… Sorry about that!

Here is the short story of the film.
1, Fly a C47 between two trees… shearing of both wings.
2, Maintain control, and gain altitude.
3, Make a controlled landing back at the airfield.

I remember doing that back in H2H. I'd try to take an airfield and the enemy would notice me trying to sneak in. Upon attacking me all they got was one side of my wing, then a local teammate noticed my situation and swooped in to assist. By that time I'm already on the way back to land and re-up, however the downed pilot gets right back up and sprays from 1.0K out. Now the other side of my wing is gone.

It was a lot of fun landing planes in those situations, I loved it!

You should try that with an F4F sometime.

Both wings will be entirely clobbered, but you can dart around like a maniac :D
The computer will think your wings are still attached, so you can skid around on them, making it impossible to flip! You can even try making jumps from small hills, great fun
