I've never watched the movie, but it looks like they were true to the original in so far as Achilles was a whiny little b*tch.  Hector and Odysseus are the two best heroes of the story.

I've never watched the movie, but it looks like they were true to the original in so far as Achilles was a whiny little b*tch.  Hector and Odysseus are the two best heroes of the story.

Just pointing out that were you to watch it you would see a completely different story and one that was changed to keep the 'star' on film longer as it adds nothing to the story.

The big guy didnt hold the shield correctly or high enough or Pitt couldnt have made that hit.

I actually thought his little jump and stab you in the shoulder move was really, really lame. (and repetitive)  Did you notice how confused he was later when Hector -- I don't know -- covered his shoulder with his shield? 

Come on.  Give me some good swordsmanship over this HOer any day of the week. 

Also, I completely agree that Eric Bana did a great job with his character  :rock
