◊ Mission: Obliteration of Knights Fields and then Captures.

Its time again, the Bishop ‘Mission of the Month’ Event is now here.
We will rally up our troops and now attack the Knight war machine.
We call upon all able and willing Bishop Squad to join in on the fun
on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. 

The best way to let me know you are interested in assuming
such a role is to go to the Bishop Joint Operation Command Website
at www.launtus.com/AcesHigh.html and use the E-Mail form to
contact me. You no longer need to register on the forums, just the
website.

Last month we had toped over 100 people in Operation: Iron Blitz. I hope we can get more this time. Oh and things will be diffrent. this time.  :salute

 :huh Rook Horde? Oh well maybe, idn well see on the map. Oh and people can fly what ever they want. But I set the mission up with these planes for a reason.

I like to setup things that have some basis
in history.  I think it adds a deeper level of
immersion and that makes the battle more
interesting, IMHO.

Pitting a P-51 against a Spit 16 in a dogfight
or against a B-17 makes this game an arcade to me.
Thats why I try to setup my monthly [MoM]
missions with planes that would have actually
faced off against one another during the war.

Still, despite my efforts, some people always
bring a plane that doesn't fit the context
of the setup.  Thats a bummer for everyone
who is trying to get a historical feel out of
the battle.

Oh well.

Yep exactly. Oh and all Bishop Squad CO's than I have talked to and/or have joined the last MoM, should be getting a email from me. Make sure you read it and tell the rest of your squad.

Weve been having many request for the plane. Plus they are perfect for the mission. We will get alot done, and capture many bases.  :devil

Personally i think it's aggravating that some of those guys never made ACE because of the way "society" worked in America at the time... The kills were handed off to someone else or weren't credited so they would have a max of 4 kills... Not sure if the US ever reversed some of the hogwash and gave it to them or not. [/offtopic]

Hopefully our squad might get into. It would be nice to fly with a group of ppl with purpose, not the rogues i see fairly often now. :D
