I think they could find something more constructive to use their time on.

But no one gave a hoot about that rock until someone did some work to get it out of the river. Then they want to charge the guys with a felony. Government gone awry.

This reminds me of a certain street that run north/south in Kansas City. Right down the middle of the street is the states Kansas and Missouri. The debate, and a long going, who has jurisdiction (sp) on patrolling that street. ?!?!?!?

It's not clear what will happen to Indian Head Rock. For now, this piece of American history sits a most inauspicious place — in a corner of a municipal garage in Portsmouth.

I think the Corps of Engineers has the stronger claim here with waterways being their domain and pervue (if a few decades of survey taught me anything).
