Title: Switched Joysticks. Can I still use throttle?
Post by: Anodizer on January 28, 2009, 10:13:10 PM
Ok, I went back to using my trusty Sidewinder precision pro joystick.
I'd still like to use my X45 throttle.  My X45 throttle has the female version
of the gameport on the back of older sound cards (I think it's GB15)
I was going to get one of the USB to Gameport adapters, but the adapter
is also female.  Is it as simple as getting a GB15 gender changing adapter
and plugging it in the USB port?  Will AH recognize both controllers?

AH will recognize as many controllers as you want to plug in. At one point, I had my pedals, 2 sticks, CH throttle quad, and 2 prothrottles plugged into my system.

There believe there is a fix somewhere on the forums for the X45, I've read about it in the past I think. I ignored it because I don't any Saitek stuff and don't remember what the fix was.
