Title: game locking up and other problematic issues with screenshots

I am having a constant computer lockup and graphics problem.
It only seems to occur while playing aces high and not other games or programs. Sometimes it locks up solid and cannot use control/alt/delete even to shut down, and have to do a soft boot.
other times the windows key will work to minimize it and I can shut aces high down and relog without restarting the computer.
Sometimes it will lock up the game and loop the last vox. I can sometimes continue to talk to squadmates on ventrillo when it happens.

I have tried multiple game uninstalls, along with amd optimizer uninstalls.

I am running an AMD 6000+, 3 gb ram, nvidia geforce 8500gt with 512 k ram video card, and windows xp pro with service pack 3.

could I have a bad video card?
Maybe bad ram stick?


Anybody have an Idea?

Well, although you should have enough memory to do it, try NOT preloading any skins or textures. I don't think this is a video card issue.

it may be a video driver issue tho. Run the Dxdiag and post the first third here.
