Quite possibly the most boring FSO I've ever been part of! I don't know what was suppose to happen at A30, but what ever it was--> "it didn't" This was the only FSO ever I logged early from.
Scotch, I liked the way you were quite active on country directing stuff as best you could, "cat herding and all" wtg <S> meeeeeeow!

The one thing that I really understand after last night is the problems the Japanese pilots had when American planes became better and the training followed suit. Last night we were in Zeros and encountered P38s and F4Us. My hat is off to those guys because they did not let their discipline slack off. They kept it fast, too fast for the Zero to follow, and did exactly what they had to, to get the most out of their aircraft.
When that happens, it makes it very hard on the other side. :salute the Allied side flying in and around 7,13-8,13

The funniest part is that I got shot by Gavagai while flying a Zeke against several Corsairs...puts a really ironic twist on the second quotation in the sig. Indeed I do regret not taking a faster plane :devil

You ran into 9th gaip, 5th AF and several other squads. Was a fun fight. You zekes held your alt very well. I have never seen such a large well disiplined cap.

Thank you on behalf of Air Raiders. It was rinse and repeat- Jam the bandit, followed by climb when you can as much as you can. Completely defensive posture. Fun with an element of frustrating built in. :)
