Anyone know of any sound patches for AH? I know there used to be some, but only been back flying for 3 months after being away for 6 years. Still catching up.

I use Twinbooms sound pack..... much better than stock pac. There are several other folks who work hard on packs too. We appreciate them all!

I just downloaded all the packs and picked the sounds out that I liked. Some just have useless stall buzzers etc. Mix and match is the way to go.

lol Stall buzzer is very important if you stall fight. It allows me to ride the stall to differing degrees and know precisely where I am at in my 38.

You should remain in the cockpit at all times.
Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times. :rofl

I'd never leave my blender........

waffles as a base, fruda's engine start/stop sounds, a sprinkling of mitsu's guns, and some custom jobs on the puffy, 50 cal, ship guns and ch6's.

yea some soundpacks have that clicking sound for stallbuzz default.. that's just useless and makes me think the soundpack maker isnt much more than a boomyzoomy.

I hated my original stall buzzer so much that I turned it off then someone told me I needed it to help make sure i could turn as tight as i could. I added the sound of a parachute in the wind. it sounds like the buffet I guess...I deleted that one too but at least the buffet I can see. the plane starts to shake in buffet.
Heres the sound i use for stalls..

Hey Bruv, think you can zip those sounds you have and post them? I'd love to hear them.

I prefer this method as well. Some guys have some killer sounds in their packs, but a few oddball ones or better ones exist in other packs. I'm sure the guys creating the packs don't want to copy the work of others and offend them.

Sound packs can cause issues like stuttering. Make sure you have enough horse power and a clean system.

For anyone having trouble installing a soundpack. They all work the same, so these instructions will work for any of them.
In the first pic, I have just downloaded a zipped soundpack to my Desktop:
(http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/1872/s1vx5.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)
I now unzip it, giving me the actual soundpack folder, called Sounds.
(http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/9065/s2sq9.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)
I now go into My Computer->C:->Program Files->HTC->Aces High II folder and see all the folders/files that go to the game. I locate my original Sounds folder and delete it. Then, I copy the new, unzipped Sounds folder that's sitting on my Desktop(the soundpack) and paste it into my AHII folder that I just deleted my old Sounds folder from.

If I installed my soundpack correctly, when I open my new Sounds folder up to look at it, I would see this. The original Sounds folder we already deleted is empty by default. If we were just adding a couple new sounds to the default ones, we would just drop them into our original Sounds folder, but since we are adding an entire soundpack, we are replacing the entire Sounds folder.

That's all there is to it. Too easy.
GrnEagle, delete those 3 Sounds folders and start over using this. You'll get it.
