Title: Just a quick 10 sec kill on tempest

I don't know how I get these guys.  Just before start of this film the tempests split S and tries to run away.  I just follow and I find him co alt with me and I've got a lot of E.  I noticed a 109 coming to help but I wanted to shoot at this guy from 600-800 out since just a second ago he split S at that distance.
   I just love the big fireball from the tater.  If you watch me rtb to base for ammo you'll notice right before end of film I got the pm saying he was afk.  Not sure if he called me a dweeb before that or after it.  I just have to laugh sometimes.

one hell of a good shot, i cannot hit with taters from D300. He probably was afk, but what does that make a difference? On the other hand he might have just been shocked that you actualy hit him, and needed an excuse for being such an easy cherry. The guy in question was flying in KOTH and he is a decent pilot, though he doesnt talk alot he flies well.

Taters will hit fairly well at D800 with convergence set at D200.

It's just a matter of learning where on the gunsight you need to be in order for the shots to hit.

It's definitely not easy whilst in any sort of maneuver... be it a turn fight or just a sloping turn but it can be done with decent consistency.
