Sorry I have missed our squad ops Guys and general play. I have been out with a serious neck injury that I am having surgery on this Friday. Doc says they are removing the discs between C5-6 and 7 and replacing them with bone grafts and a titanium plate for support. This computer I am on right now is brand a new 9600 quad core 64bit on an XFX nFORCE 790i ultra, 8 gigs of ram, 2 9800 GX2's, an Auzentech XFi Prelude sound card pushing a Logitech Z-5500 sound system a cool master 850W power supply, segate 1 TB SATA 3.5 drive. Attached to the box are 3 HANNspree 26" LCD's. Most of the work I performed my self but the heavy lift placement I had help with such as the moniters and box after I put it together. If all goes well I should be out of the hospital on Saturday and back home for minimum of 2 weeks rest but doc said more like 6. Anyway I just dropped in to let my squad mates know I am still allive and kicken and am itchen to get back in the air. Best wishes to all in this New year and hope its a safe one for all. See you all soon :salute

Believe it or not I was sitting at my desk at work in a new chair that had several adjustment levers, one of which tilted the whole seat forward at a very alarming speed and power. I was pulling my chair to my desk with my feet flat on the floor when my right calf hit that lever. I was shot out of that chair like a torpedo out of a tube under the desk and my chin catching the desk edge and the back of the chair pinning my head to the desk while the other 228 pounds was still traveling at god knows what speed. Needless to say it wasnt pretty and quite painful. It seemed like I hung there for hours to me but my co workers came to my aid and it was only about 45 seconds when they heard the boom of the chair or was it my head hitting the desk or maybe the Aghhhhhhhhhhhh as I hung there or all three. Everything from the shoulders down just went numb in an instant and I couldnt move untill they removed the chair and laied me down flat. I didnt start getting feeling back untill the next day and now I only have numbness if I am not careful with what I do. Looking back on the accident it reminds me of something you might see in some slap stick comedy and I can smile at it now of what I may have looked like to my co workers as they rushed over and were stuned at what they were looking at. I requested that all those chairs be removed from the building as the chair is a bad accident just waiting to happen.
