...to be updated. If I recall the B26 and C47 are now the two oldest models in the game, both existing since beta. With all this talk of wanting a new bomber why don't we just breathe new life into the B26 first since it's age is really showing.

I really really want the B-26, Lancaster, and Ju88 updated VERY badly (in that order) because they soak up too much damage with their buggy first-generation damage models!!!!
I've landed attack runs with 5-7 30mm hits (and provided films in the past) on lancasters in a small cluster area, I've landed 3-5 30mm hits on B-26s with no damage (including landed 2x 30mm fireball puffs on the vertical stab of one) and never seen any damage on these planes.
They're used so often, I'd say, because the savvy bomber pilots know they absorb more damage than the "updated" planes.
That's why I'd LOVE to see them updated.
EDIT: Just for clarification: The Ju88 doesn't have these bugs as much, I just REALLY want this plane looking new and pretty! :)

I Haven't Really Noticed the damage absorbing Features of the B26, that's my main Bomber Ride (If I'm Bombing)
But I've always Come Home aside from one Time, So maybe that is a Clue to the absorbing affects of the 26, I also Am all For Updating The Ju-88, B26 and Lancaster. I'd love to see them Fully updated Would be a Wonderful sight :salute

B-26s are the best all around bombers in the game. Add my :aok to the upgrade.

Agreed there, Karnak, but of the two I think there's more argument the C saw daytime action, even painting fake glass on the nose to make enemy think it was a bomber variant, instead of a heavily-gunned variant. You wouldn't do that for a night fighters, but I've seen that a couple of times on the 88C, so I believe (following that logic) it was used in daytime. I don't think the same can be said of the G.
Either way I'd like to see one. Or the 410 hehehe, that would absorb all my Ju88C/G interest, were we to get it!

I've read something similar. But this time it was the rudder that was painted partially black around the edges, to make it look like an older model. Pretty smart!
Not sure if it would've fooled anyone though

Gotta agree here about the B-26. It takes far more punishment than any other twin engine bomber.
