I'll start by saying I got lazy...
I was rolling base to a base with 2 kills in a T-34/85. I get back on base and I'm rolling right down the middle of the runway. I'm 110% on pavement, but I'm moving.
I hit End Sortie and get a 'You have ditched' message, and of course, I lose the perks and the kills.
Is it standard procedure, that you have to come to a full stop? I would think that ending a sortie on pavement, even though I'm moving, wouldn't result in a ditch.
If its SOP, then I won't be lazy and punch out until I've come to a complete stop, looked both ways at the intersection, waited 5 seconds, and yielded to the vehicle on my right.
Heading back to Driver's Ed...

Right. You have to come to a complete stop to land successfully. This is the same for PT boats as well...which is why many don't get to land BECAUSE they are actually moving too slow to realize it. That's why I always check my speedometer

Yes. Thus, no bug.

Thanks. No one's ever accused me of following procedure too closely.

Ya, you lose the perks, but you keep the kills, you just don't get your name in lights for them...

Isn't a ditch -1/2 perks?

Isn't a ditch -1/2 perks?
Something like that, but if you are in a perk ride with 2 kills, you likely didn't earn more points than the ride costs. If you don't get a successful landing, you lose perks unless you killed enough to override the perk cost.

Just pointing it out. I figured anyone who didn't know would prefer a ditch to a full perk price deficit. :)
