Post by: 10thmd on February 06, 2009, 09:10:30 AM
Just got a new stick, Anybody have profiles for it or tips on how to set it up cause right now I can get off the ground , but cant stay up. Keep getting the dont move your controls message and I'm barely moving the stick.

It's not a profile setting that will prevent this, this is a hardware or software issue. Have you calibrated it in game? Have you plugged it directly into your computer are are you using a powered USB hub?

Hey, I love mine. You just have to pop the S cable while in level flight once in a while to recal it. (This would be a good addition to the instrument- a momentary disconnect switch on the joystick.)

Be sure to scale it in the "advanced" screen in the game. This is very important, even if you want a totally neutral setting. These sticks have a mind of their own...lol.
