They were excellent fights, Slimmer, good close-in knife fighting that many people think the Corsair and Frank can't do.  Hope to see you often in AvA.

I note that you're from Millville, so you should especially enjoy the last part of this week, which features the P-47 v. FW-190A5.

yes millville airport used to be an army training base for the p-47. my dad used to take me to the field where they used to shoot ground target and we used to pick up the 50 cal. shells and go into the bunkers. i enjoy flying the p-47 but i am horrible at it. millville has a history with the p-47. its pretty cool :salute
