I hated em when they first came out. Then it was an aqquired taste
Love the band now. Well. their stuff up untill the Rock N Roll Over album.
Gotta see em live. One of the best shows I've ever seen
You get a chance check out their tunes "She" and "Black Diamond" Particularly off the live ablum

gene simmons just tryin to make some cash
-
I don't want to put anything in my mouth that Simmons has had his hand in.
-
gene simmons just tryin to make some cash
He has to pay for more of his face lifts.
-
Man, is there anything these guys wont slap their names on and sell?
Gene Simmons has always reminded me of Krusty the Clown from "The Simpsons", the way he just puts his name on any piece of crap to sell, they even have similar hair.

I was thinking the same.

I'm with Dred on this one...
One of the best Shows in the Rock world... That music
just takes me back to those days... Still love it!!!
Like the movies, Dazed and confused, or Apollo13,
Or Detroit Rock City.. Man, ya just had to BE there!!!
Bought the box set, just couldn't be without it... Still
have some of the original LPs.. AliveI and II, Dressed to kill,
etc... Well worn, but still playable, LOL!!!
Its a nostalgia thing for some of us.. Last summer I loaded
up my race bikes, and went to the Vintage Motocross
National Races at Washougal WA... Had an ABSOLUTE BLAST!!!
People from all over the US and Canada were there.. Racin
the SWEET classic Machines, on the genuine historic track..
The golden age of MX, and the golden age of Hard Rock
just happened to coincide... Serendipity!!!
Of all the tunes BLASTIN in the pits, KISS was well represented..
Kinda like Apollo11 landing on the moon, ya had to SEE it LIVE!!!
Ya just had to live those times, or ya can't understand...
While they weren't the most technically "skilled" musicians..
Their tunes held the SPIRIT of those times, no doubt!!!
Many of you guys, weren't even BORN yet, LOL!!!!
:rock :rock :rock
:salute to all ORIGINAL headbangers!!!
RC
PS. DISCO STILL SUCKS!!!
-
That is too funny!! Did any of you actually read the menu?
The sauce is the funniest. "Contains actual KISS DNA." :rofl :rofl :rofl
-
I have to go with dred an ripchord on this one.I am a product of that generation an ya just had to be there.I saw them in birmingham alabama in 75 at a monster jam.Man what a show.I also still have some of the old LP's.Alive rocks-detroit rock city-black diamond-cold gin.Just wish I could remember-too much smoke

Gene is at it again, that guy is the ultimate entrepreneur, love him or hate him he is driven and quite shameless when it comes to expanding the KISS empire. I loved KISS as a youngster, Ace Frehley in particular was my hero and the reason I took up the Guitar. The original band broke up before I got the chance to see them, it was always a life long dream to see the original band in makeup. I finally got that chance back in 2000 (or so) when they got back together and toured again. It was a great time that I will never forget. I wouldn't see them now though, KISS is only KISS with Peter and Ace IMO.

Like I said, he's basically the Krusty the Clown of the real world.

Did you guys read this at the bottom of the menu, "We know what you're thinking: "But most burger joints put their sauce on top!" At KISS BURGER we feel that it's best to spray your sauce in the bottom! It just feels better. And it's closer to the tongue when you eat it!"

Yea, I caught that but quickly erased it from the Ol' Memory bank.

I only saw these post-guess it was probably better that way

that's pretty funny.

Too many KISS stereotypes everywhere.
Clever though.

Gene Simmons is a sweetheart.
-
Love or hate KISS music, seems to me we need more rock stars like Gene. :rock
Below is a Gene Simmon's Quote
"I wasn't born here. But I have a love for this country and its people that knows no bounds. I will forever be grateful to America for going into World War II, when it had nothing to gain, in a country that was far away... and rescued my mother from the Nazi German Concentration Camps. She is alive and I am alive because of America. And, if you have a problem with America, you have a problem with me".

you're starting to look like a stalker.

How? This is one of the few bands I've "tried many times to get into" but cannot. The only guys I can tolerate listening to, are Peter and Ace. They were smart and left the egomaniacs.
I used to hate the Grateful Dead, but have found a recent respect for what they actually stood for.
-
then why not just ignore it.
-
This has to be a hoax. Either that or Gene is too cheap to get a real Web artist.

Hoax? The real genius behind the Kiss Burger franchise is rock-n-roll journalist/musician/consultant/agent/producer Brett Meisner (http://www.rockandrollbadboy.com/daily_dirt/). If you are in a band, his tips (http://www.rockandrollbadboy.com/meisner_101/lesson_2_press_kits_and_photos/#more) on press kits and photos is a must read.
