Title: Pilot never really blacks out, why ?
Post by: Suave1 on January 13, 2001, 04:57:00 PM
The only time my pilot ever really blacks out is when wounded . I can pull as many g's as I want and all I get is varying degrees of tunnel vision . Even when vision is completely obscured I can still controll the ac . When I let off the g's, everything is right back good in an instant . Whats up with this ?

Hold it in blackout longer, and you'll be truly blacked out (does not clear when you release).  Only seen this a couple times, when testing the same observations as you.

I grunt a lot. I think it helps me in high G maneuvers. If nothing else I stay regular.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

At least that control issue with blackout has been talked over many times by now...
Its just your vision that goes first, needs bit more for you to come unable to fly
