At that point, film viewer listed 27 Bish with only 4 Rooks around (Snails included).
That's the way I like it - more targets than ammo and killstealing is a non-issue. Just gimme a fast plane... :D

Thats it?
Bout as close to a 1v1 as Ive seen in months! :D
-
I saw one of those yesterday except it was 20+ Nit P-38's attacking a VB with only 3 defenders in flacks.
I'm sure they were the "manly men" nits looking for a "good" fight.
-
Thats it?
Yes, though only a few moments before it had been 30 Bish, not 27 ;)
-
I told those guys to join so they would get their pictures in the BBS. :lol :lol
The thing is when we went towards that base there were 2 full dar bars in the area. What happen to those guys?

:rofl :aok

IIRC some of them went for the wrong base to defend, and a lot of action was already at the next sector, where rooks were trying to get A65 back to eliminate the Bish foothold on that island.

Looks like a normal night in the MA; in one sector 20+ attacking an undefended field while the other chess piece does the same a sector away.
I see more and more people taking the path of least resistance.

but but we didn't. Ask anyone in that mission.

Just to clarify... this base wasn't exactly undefended at first, but the few defenders where quickly overhwelmed. But as you can see all hangars were dropped, which of course immeadiatly changed the balance. BTW, this particular Bish attack was no NOE or CV raid. They upped ~ 2 sectors away and were causing a full darbar all the time.
Both the rook attack on 65 as well as this Bish attack on 66 happened at the same time. It was a quite dynamic situation in a 3-4 sector area, a multi-sector battlefield. And that was a good thing with lots of fun and yelling armchair generals.
It had been earlier that eveining when Bish run a handfull of NOE missions including repeatedly aborting the attack when meeting resistance and quickly hitting elsewhere on the map.

So is this a new direction for AH users and the training corps? Ridiculing the players for playing the game as it is designed? My squad routinely attacks a field like this one with just three players. Rooks will up and attack our bombers (which is exactly what we are looking for) but knights wont defend the majority of times unless you attack a factory or something. I dont understand the difference but hitting factories makes knights angry. (http://i447.photobucket.com/albums/qq197/Chalenge08/costumed-smiley-011.gif)

Pls read all my messages again and tell me where I did ridicule anybody.

No ridicule from the OP. I'll offer a "yes" on my own behalf, however. Self-policing is effective.

Elle oh elle.

Wherein lies the difference.

So what you really have a problem with is attacking fields at all. :huh

I had no problem with anything at all. My post was purely positive. I had fun. I was in a situation I do prefer - Being in a fast plane and seeing red everywhere. My initial message clearly stated that.

This is what i'm talking about 1 person in a tempest unwilling to engage then the majority of so called fight fans yell hoard mission when Lusche said it no doubt where we were going.
And BTW hangars were killed but with nearby rook bases plenty of oppurtunity for defense. And lets face it if the attacker has to fly a sector to reup why should you geet to up repeatedly from target base where is reality in that?
-
Hmm only one P-51, no Spit 16s N1K2s LA-7s or Tybooms.
That is worth a picture.

Lusche, if you flew as anything other than Rook, you wouldn't have to explain a fun picture and post. Looks like a good time. :aok

Ummmm.....and exactly where does "reality" come into this? Is that the part where 10 automatons glide into a slit trench to take a whole base, but only after all the buildings in a nearby town are destroyed? There's nothing realistic about the amount of ordnance needed to kill our hangars, or the way blowing up one "barrack" hut can take away a base's ability to launch capture attempts.
Remember that AH simulates flight and combat, but that it's purely a game beyond that.

You can't kill anything using a mouse to fly. Get a joystick and maybe people will be afraid of you. Then there's that plane you fly... ugh.

Bet they hold hands when they go to the Ladies room too! :rofl
