Thanks for the find. Very cool to see another warbird flying!
-
We should have this plane. Already have the basic plane modeled, just have to change the armament, and give something to use besides the HurriIIc in certain scenarios.
-
awesome - wish they had a camera in the cockpit, tho'
-
Hmm, someone forgot to tell them that is a dweeb plane!! :noid
-
Did I hear him say that's the only Hurri 2b still in existence? WOW! What a project huh. :aok
-
I've seen 4 Hurries fly so far, I think there aren't any more flyworthy...untill this one.

Thats what I've thought too many times now. The camera modules are very very small so the pilot could well have one attached to his helmet so we could see what he sees and hear what he hears. But of course the buggers are jealous of their experience, and rightly so! "If you only knew what it feels to fly one..." :cry

Thats like restoring a 1978 station wagon
wheeeeee.
-
Thanks Twinboom - I totally enjoyed that!
Question - what are the two extra outer guns on each wing? Machine Guns? Cannon? If MG's, does this mean it carried 12 .303's?
-
Indeed, 12x .303mgs; generally used as a strafer.
-
I'd imagine that when HTC get round to redoing the Hurricane Mk II, you would get gun options for 8 or 12 303s, or 4 hispanos.
-
very cool :aok

Geneseo 2007 air show.

I thought it was a Mk I, but the program identifies it as The Fighter Factory's Hurricane Mk II-B, RCAF 5667.

Just wondering - what would hit harder, 6 x.50's, or 12 x .303's?

Well... the rate of fire and ballistics of those .303's are pretty awesome. But if I were to use my experience from in-game, I'd say probably about the same if not just a little more damage per second.
However this is based up on what I've experienced. :)
