Title: Torpedo carrying aircraft..

Anyone, like myself, read into all the news, and interviews on 1.05 that the only aircraft with the ability to carry torpedo will be the TBM in the initial release?

Yep.... but then they didn't even mention the Seafire   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)  No doubt we will get more Torpedo aircraft but I don't see any harm in that the Avenger being possibly the only torpedo plane at the moment.  At least it'll get used then  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) and it might be suicidal to fly it... but that could also be fun!   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

They could allow B-26s and Ju88s to carry two torpedos, but some people think there were not enough B-26s modified this way to "count" for this payload.  The Ju88 technically should be a different model, not an ammo load for the one we have (I think the navy interdiction Ju88 also has a 20mm flex mount in the nose too).

I don't really care if HT and Pyro do it myself.  Let them have torpedos.  It won't break the game.

Good Torpedo bombers could be:
S.M.79 SPARVIERO 2x800kg torpedo
Yokosuka P1Y1 Ginga 1x900kg torpedo
YU88 2x800kg torpedo

Used to love the JU-88 in brand W for torp runs. Full throttle, + wep, screaming along 50 feet over the water.   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

+) i used to enjoy the same in AW Ghosth but in Betty, tho it only had one torp.

I know there were kamikaze attacks, but did the Japanese ever use torpedo's??  Perhaps the N1k or zeke could "strap one on" (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

It's a lie! They weren't torpedoes, they were hideously mutated and specially trained kamikaze mako sharks...
