Just tried to log into the old website and it is gone. Do the Nightmares VMF-101 still exist?

A lot of the old AW guys are gone<RF>,<RLD>,<FD>,<DBJ><--my son,<Dobe>,<BFD>,<Blue>,and Woody,...may God rest his soul as he flys in heaven now.I know I missed a ton of guys that where in the Nightmares,and I didn't mean to slight anyone.It's pretty much where I got my start in online flight sims.I'm sure Filth,Plink,Tophat,50Cal,Matelot,and others are keeping the tradition going.I'm sure one of the old timers has a screen of the Mares taking off on a sortie in their 190A8's.Brings a tear to these  old eyes. :salute,VMF101,may they fly forever.

There's a problem with the website domain pointers.
Been down for a couple weeks.

I got e-mails to BFD to get the pointers straight, but haven't heard anything back.

Squad's still kicking.. you can find them in FSO tonight.

Just wanted to log on and wish happy holidays to the old crew, but haven't been able to for a spell. Last time I tried the website seemed to be gone completely. Maybe I'll renew by sub soon.

Doing good Target.I recall BFD had the website for a long time.I looked at the Nightmares squad roster,and only seen about five names.When we came over from AW,we had nearly two thirty man squads.I seen ZZT on the other day.What a kick in the butt he was!Renew your subscription Target,and join the fun.

I fly with them in the FSO. Not sure about there website. Show up on Friday I'm sure they would be glad to see you.

I still see the Nightmares around from time to time, moreso in events than in the MA. I'd recommend, like Getback said, to try FSO.

Like many squads we are suffering the inevitable effects of aging on many of our members...but we keep flying.

At 51 and a Nightmare for only 8 years, I take heart from the likes of Matelot...still going strong at 80-something.  ;)

Anyway, once a Nightmare...always a Nightmare!

So, welcome back!

Some of us will be on tonight and conducting some training and prep for the final frame of the current FSO, so come join us.

Just tried the Nightmares site. Nice to see a P38 on the page (I loved that plane). Alas, my old key is lost, and I can't get into the squadroom. Just wanted to check the active roster to see how many of the "old guard" were still flying. That, and look under the cushions for any loose change.....
