Title: c.205 sustained dive speed
Post by: VISCONTI on January 05, 2000, 06:06:00 AM
The only data i have found say:

609mph was the top speed on a sustained dive speed

then i think that "650 IAS minor damage 695 Wings removed" are too big.

Ciao, Visconti.

hmmmmm, interesting. Where are those data from? Do you know armament and weight for the test machine?

So far, we have only the Guidonia tests of february 1943. A 3,270Kg C.205V armed with 4x12,7mm (strange thing, it can be a typo of the german writer, couse I'd never heard about a 4x12,7mm armed C.205V) climbed with a 109G-4 to 20K.
