Change the thread name to somthing like, "Exchange of Edited screenshots, anyone?" Would go hand in hand with the the everyday screenshots. Probably should make one, "Exchange of unedited screenshots, anyone?" as well.
I think I will make that one.

I just can't see the flames being that large on an engine fire. The smooke looks a bit to concentrated and think along with some variations of different shades of black/gray. Also, the underside shadow of the 109 is too dark for that daylight scene.

Would be more accurate if the 109 was in flames :devil
Are you guys doing this with gimp? If so, how? I know how to blur it but not add flames.

I wasnt a fan of this picture I just made the flame larger because of request. This was all made of request not from what I wanted to do.

Wouldnnt the flame go on a linear path from the B24, unless the B24 had turned during the fire?
:)

I think you should add bullet holes (if possible, not sure how much you can do)

Wake turbulence will cause the smoke to curl but not just outward.
The P38 is probably fairly close but too wide in the smoke area. I imagine the smoke would be very black since the flame is burning the tire and oil both.

If the engine was on fire, it would no longer be functioning, thus no longer producing thrust, and there would be twice the thrust on the left wing as the right wing- the aircraft would turn right.

In this case the AH2 planes do keep flying with the engine on fire... And the fire was added so we dont know if the engine would be functional so the smoke can be how ever the artist wants it... problem solved. ;)

Hey! I made the smoke zoomed in, I thought I was going the right way :lol

That's my cover story ;)

Eventually the vortices and wake turbulence will effect the smoke trail.

I think the planes are being attacked by the smoke monster from Lost
