I hope the beaufighter comes out before the scenario starts.

Positive Waves Moriarty, Think Positive. I would not sweat the terrain, the CMs are on the ball.
The Beaufighter is not in the scenario so it matters not either way. ;)

OK, I'll bite.....what is a Hunnie?
-
Slang for German. Such as Hun , Hunnie or Jerry. Used in WWII.
-
Ah. It is like "Tommy" or "Yank," but directed at us superior and mighty Germans and Italians. :)
-
I've always wondered where those nicknames came from. Why was a VC called "Charlie"? And "Jerry" for the Krauts?

Well, Jerry is obvious. Alteration of German
The term "Hun" is our own fault. ;)
It stems from a very infamous speech of Kaiser Wilhelm II, held in 1900 when the German expedition corps left to help crushing the Chinese Boxer rebellion.

Hun I got. I would never have connected Jerry and German though... "Kraut" just sounds better anyway ;)

I Suppose You Didn't see the Desert camo jeep on the Hill over there? And the Sherman Behind the bush?
Don't Forget the Rat patrol they saw you too. But those little 50 cals would be like BB's to those tanks so they ran off to warn the people of a Nearby village.

VC=Victor Charlie over radio. They shortend it down just to Charlie.
