(This is a open event ,Players may join at anytime)
Here you will find you and
your plane matched up against all odds.
in a instant action White knuckle Dogfight...
were Advanced Combat Maneuvers is
the name of the game.
This is a Two sided constant Duel.
no penalties ,no points,no shame if you
get shot down.
-----The basic Rules---------
Even up the teams when entering.
You may fly any enabled plane.
No "4th man in"...let all fights at 1-2 odds alone.
{if a red guy has 2 green on him let it go till a green guy dies}
"Head-on shots are frowned upon at merge ,and in general ."
ACM = Saddle the guy up and prove you can out fly them!!!
No vulching (let the guys up then kill em)
Killshooter is off ,All ammo is LIVE and Dangerous.
Collisions are ON ! you all better have insurance.
Fuel burn 1.0
Leathalitys and ammo are standard default 1.0
There is no Alt cap , but currently 5k is considered the ceiling .(This will vary with each terrain)
Cherry picking (BNZ) is discouraged in this type
of fighting , We fly on the edge and work energy management
to the fullest .
Also it is encouraged that you film and discuss your
Fights .
There are No GV's ,No formations,No 4 Engine planes,
and No Jets.
Radio
200 text is on.
250 vox if you want to taunt your enemy,
or discuss the fight (That's how the aces got that way )

Probably the most fun filled hour and a half of AH I have played. I recommend anyone who enjoys good clean fights to check this out.

I would recommend this to any furballer out there who want's to have some nice fights without the ganging/trash talk of the MA.

most likely it will /can be once a month and possibly 2x's . I'd like to take it up a level too ...say 20k fights . and if guys can keep it upstairs I'll show ya whats up at 30k +, then back down to mowing weeds again.
I also notice theres alot of historical matches in there too (spits vs 109's /ki's vs 38's ect ) we can start swaping planes and bring that huge scope of knowledge and skills ..

I really like the map, it's a nice departure from the monotony of the MA... BUT. Most of the fights seem to be all between just two bases. Maybe just a small simple map with maybe 2 or 3 fields for each side and a air starts at 20k and 30k respectively might work out well.

Damn wish I would've checked the boards yesterday. Hopefully I will be able to attend the next one. Sounds like the guys who have attended this one had as much fun as I did on the first one <S> Ros.
p.s. Ros could you tell if there were more ppl that showed up for last nights as there were on the first one? Just wondering.

Yeah sounds like fun to me too, only thing is at 8:00 EST, I'm stiil 30 mins more of work and another 30 mins to get home, get settled and get AH running. So are fights still going on an hour into it?

Jenks the first event ros did about 3 weeks ago lasted for i want to say almost 4 hrs. Everybody was having fun so they kept it open. The good thing about this event is you can enter whenever you want there is no set time that youy have to be there.

I recorded a couple of raw flights last night but it wasn't very crowded due to the late notice (But still all the fun nonetheless). If you want PM me and I'll send you a link.
