Thanks for the Yak9U ride. Because of that assignment, I flew it in the MA on Friday and discovered a gem of a plane that I will fly much more often. :aok

The Yak-9U is a great fighter. It is the ignored little brother of the La-5/7 because of the small ammo clip, but it is a very capable fighter, and has better range than the Lavochkin series. The omission of WEP might also cause people to be skeptical, but in reality it does have WEP: it's just always on. ;)

Flyboy and I were in the DA flying KI-61s against the Yaks, and we were both surprised as to how it practically LEAPED off the runway. Plus, it is a nice little plane to fly.

Id like to thank everyone that been so nice and helpful to JG54 in the FSO. We're still the new guys and we're still learning, so thanks and please bare with us.
We might make a mistake here or there but its not intentional. we're just trying to do the right thing and have fun.
thanks to all both allied and Axis!!
