and whatever you try to do it just is out to get you and put you down.
Even if you try, it whoops you, and when you give up and just be a tard, it still says I'm gonna rape you and make everything crap.
There is no winning, only losing. how much extent of your losing is all on random chance. some lose less than others, some lose more, but there is nothing other than losing.

Persevere. Never give up. :aok

If things are at the bottom, then they will most certainly go up from there. Be strong and it will all work out!

I guess what I am saying by this is life is defined by losses not wins.
a win is nothing more then preventing another loss.
x= losses, y= wins
if x-y=0 is the best you can do, how many of you honestly are >0 ?
I realized that in my life I have never even come close to 0, generally below -100 or more. if you are above 0 then I admire you, and wish I had a chance at your life

Hey, I'm pretty down sort of. I mean I was laid off, they are contesting my unemployment so no money now for 5 weeks. Yet I feel fortunate, I'm studying for the cpa exam, fixing my house, and applying for jobs. I'm 55 so none of these things are not in the bag. Just going to have to put out the effort and give myself every chance possible.
I don't give up easily that is for sure and neither should you. BTW, that is what many won't you to do. Don't give in!
Edit: oops left off not.

That's what I thought, but apparently there's a hole at the bottom.

Here is the way i look at it. I would rather be poor than rich. As long as you can walk, talk, breath and see, everything is going to be alright.

QFT
Instead of asking "when do I get mine?" Ask yourself "what do I have to do to get what I want?" That little attitude adjustment can change your life.

When I wake up to the sunrise and see my beautiful wife and children, it's a good day. We all have our bad times but in the end it's you that determinds your fate. :salute

It might be time to get help and talk to a professional,Mustaine.Get some help.

I've had some days where I felt like that, Mustaine. I think we all have.
I'll tell you what, though... Everything almost always seems to work out alright in the end for people who think it will, and almost never for people who don't.
If you're going through a rough stretch, you owe yourself a little self-pity. But make it brief... It doesn't do much good :aok

Just a real crummy mood last night, dropped my dinner on the floor and didn't have anything else left in the house to readily make, too much on the table @ work, too many things to think and worry about. will I get this done in time, what about that, is it more important? I don't want to bother myself with that one, but I have to...
you know how it goes.

I decided long ago I was gonna suck at life...but I made a pact with myself, that if I was born to suck..I'd be the suckiest man alive. So far I havent disappointed myself.

"Life sucks"??
It's a whole lot better than the alternative...imho.

Look at it this way, if you have a lot to do at work you at least have some sort of job security. While there are many people who until recently you would probably consider much more fortunate than yourself, are now struggling to pay their high dollar mortgage or car payments because they have been laid off and can't find jobs that pay half of what they were making.

My friend, life is been a fikle bit!@ to me lately, and I can tell you this, I tried the whole x-y=0 math to figure it out. No, you never will be at 0, or a numerical value close to it... and that's the problem, it can't be measured in solid numbers and decimals. If you do then you have this always growing number, and it will always be working against you... adding up and becoming larger with each passing day... the math will always be there, but that doesn't mean you have to keep a complete tally of it and carry it on to the next day... besides, that's what we have credit cards for.
If life becomes about the numbers, you're doomed to be disapointed... the x-y=0 thing, money, where you precisely rank amongst others/peers, shoe size, you're wife/girlfriend's bust size, etc.. You must simplify how you measure your goals, take it one day at a time, the good/bad, the nice/unpleasant, the big/small. There are good days and there are bad days. There are days where you make money or loose money. There are days where you did poor, ok, or were the best amongst your peers... everyone has a bad day though. There are days where you gain a shoe size and days where you drop something on your foot and break a toe.
Just wake up the next day, tackle the good, remember the good from the day before. Know and don't be surprised by the bad... that just means you're unprepared, but don't let two bad things in a day much up one or only good thing.
