That second one is so true.  Just heard today that Eclipse is filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.  Of course, this downturn may not have all to do with it, but it sure didn't help.

That first one cracks me up.  Some guy in the White House and those on capitol hill can fly in the world's most expensive private aircraft, but hit the auto makers and bankers over the head for doing the same thing.  Prez flies in a private heli to Andrews for a trip in Air Force One.  By the way 4 other choppers accompany him.  One identical to Marine One and two support choppers.  Then he gets on board a private 747 and flies somewhere.  He gets to destination.  Wonder how his limo got there.  Oh, that's right,  2 C-17 cargo jets flew it all there ahead of time.  What a waste and then they lambast a corpration for using a jet to fly the CEO and a host of others to a meeting.

its the principle, they're coming begging for money and they show up in the lap of luxory (while, mind you, their employees are being laid off by the thousands). The president has to travel that way because hes the president and measures have to be taken to keep him safe, you cant compare the two.

I especially liked the one about the failing company asking for more money, then using that money to hand out larger bonuses.... wait...
