As explained in many other threads through the years all infractions are judged on a case by case basis. Some infractions after discussion with the involved parties second warrant a warning and point penalty. Other infractions can and have warranted harsher sanctions with no second warning. It depends on the nature of the infraction and it depends on the discussion with, statements made, attitude of, etc. etc. of the parties involved in the infraction. We do try to work things out with squads and in many cases try to give them a second chance but it is not a rule or a right that any squad has that they get 1 strike before they are out.

We have removed squads without warning in the past for being no shows and when we inquired why and got a response along the lines of .. "we didn't show, its a game, get over it" we have removed them then and there. In several other cases when the squad explained .. "our CO was sick and our XO was out of town and they didn't forward the orders to us" we told the squad this is your first warning. It happens again will be suspended for a set period of time.  Same type of infraction committed but still very different in the after case particulars. That is an example of a case by case basis and why sometimes a squad gets a second chance and sometimes not and is suspended for a set period of time before they are allowed to participate again in the event if they wish to at a future date.

This is not the place to have this discussion.  This was a decision made by the FSO team lead and the CM team lead.  If you wish to dispute this decision then you need to do it through PM and not drag drama to the public forums.  If you wish to have an explanation then you need to ask for it VIA PM, not here.

The appropriate contacts would be 68Falcon and SLED.

Please continue this discussion through those private channels.  No actions regarding discipline of an individual or individual squad will be discussed in public.

The CM team acted in accordance to thier charter.

A squad decides to violate the rules of the event.  Rules which have been well known and upon entering the event, you are obliged to abide by.  When that happens, I would certainly hope the CM team would remove the offending parties from the event.

After admission of the violation of the rules, then further statements indicating further breach of the rules will happen if they do not get to play the way they want, the CM team would have been completely irresponsible if they did not remove the squad in question.

Blaming others for your own actions really will not get you anywhere.  This discussion is over.  Any further attempts to belittle the CM team for doing what they are supposed to be doing will be dealt with harshly.  Consider that your warning.

No bias here.  I will treat anyone the same way when they act in the same manner.  I expect the CM team to do the same.
