Who was considered to be the only ace to fly a piston-engine aircraft during the Korean War?
Who was the first African-American naval aviator in USN history (his first sortie was during the Korean War)?
Who was the only pilot to shoot down a Mig-15 in a single-seat piston-engine aircraft?
What did these three men have in common?

At a guess they were probably the same guy. Another educated guess, by the facts presented so far, was the airplane was an A1 Skyraider.

Guy Pierre Bordelon, Jr
Jesse L. Brown
Jesse G. Folmar
They were all naval aviators and flew the Corsair.
