Title: My Kapersky Internet Security ate my AHII shortcut!
Post by: shotgunneeley on February 27, 2009, 09:27:05 PM
Uh I'm having a slight problem. When I tried to log onto AH tonight my Kapersky Internet Security system went to work and blocked it as a low hazard. I deactivated Kapersky's defenses to allow me to play AH but when I re-clicked on the shortcut I got an error message saying "Missing shortcut: Windows is searching for aceshigh.exe. To locate the file yourself, select browse".

What do I do to solve this? Since my computer simply cannot find the AHII program I cannot add it to my list of exceptions to Kapersky.

I played AH earlier today and everything went smooth, so I dont know what could have been the problem.

Is the .exe still in the Aces High folder? If so, then check the shortcut to make sure it has the right path to the .exe. Otherwise, more technophilic folk are gonna have to jump in and help.

I got it working. I just downloaded AH again and added it to my firewall exceptions before Kapersky blocked it again. Thanks
