Title: FSX Location Location Location.
Post by: SKYGUNS on February 28, 2009, 12:31:29 AM: can anybody give me any hints on a good flying location prefferably rural and fieldy just for when im buzzing around in my vintage aircraft and also less than a mile away from a airstrip in flight simulator 10...

Renton Washington is another good spot but the regen load can be severe on most systems. The Kenmore flights to the San Juan Islands starts near there and its one of my favorite areas. (NOT RURAL)

I used to fly a Cessna 172 Skyhawk there until the FAA changed the regs to where you had to stay 500 ft above the rim level. Yes - it was a blast. Had a bad experience once with density altitude during the summer and trying to climb out - made for a very exciting flight for my passengers even though I was $#!^!*& bricks!

That, and a couple of helicopter tour midairs and probably dozens of near-midairs. And hikers constantly complaining about the airplanes ruining their nature love-in.
