I published a board wargame a bit over 20 years ago. I cleaned out some storage and I am now selling the last few copies of the only print run (Lazs and Rickt already have theirs so they are off the hook). Carrier Battles is the most detailed and accurate carrier board wargame ever. Buy a copy, read the rules, push some markers around. THEN come back here and whine because the game sucks, the combat results are nonsensical, etc.... However if you complain about the cover art, everybody will know you are full of crap.
It's a 1942 Pacific game; no N1Ks, spixteens or runstangs to ruin your fun so everybody here should be happy.

Looks somwhat like the old Avalon Hill games I used to play back in the 70's. Guadalcanal, Blitzkrieg, Von Richtoffen's War, Tactics II, etc. Come to think of it, I think I still have them out in the shed in a box somewhere.. . .
Do you think the teenagers of today would have the patience to give up their Nintendo's and Play Stations to play a game where your imagination has to fill in the graphics?

People are still putting a few out (http://www.multimanpublishing.com/index1.php), although I doubt too many teenagers are buying them. Clearly old farts like myself are the main audience.

My best High School Buddy and I played Tactics II in 1967.
