Title: Tanker looking for day squad.
Post by: haggerty on March 04, 2009, 10:05:28 AM
I am in Iraq and have a cheap PS2 style controller so I pretty much exclusively tank.  I did order a joystick and am waiting for it to arrive but for now my flying is limited to supply runs (any rudder while flying makes it go crazy).
I have played all the Air Warriors in the past and have been out of the game for some time now.  I started up last month and am now back in the loop of how the game works and am ready to help a squad.

Oh yeah, I am typically available to play from 9am to 2pm game time.

Hi haggerty,

Our squad has a lone tin can driver called Henry8, i think  he would be happy in not being alone and we would like to welcome new members. Who we are and where we go you can find here:

Give a yell at Henry8 or PM me if you like the idea.

At the moment we are flying under >>DEAD PARROTS<< Flag, due to huge amount of disbands in the squad in the last months. But we put our bones together and got under the top 20 squads in the last tour.

Hey, if you're into F4Us, PM me or whiteman for the VF-17 Jolly Rogers. I am still pretty new, but as far as I know, the squad goes way back.

The real life squadron is very famous, had an unbelievable record, of something like 154 kills from the official squadron. Many F4U's have the famous "Skull and Crossbones" on models and on the real deals.

You can read about the WWII History of the squadron here.

;)
Not sure if they are recruiting or not but the "GROUND POUNDERS" do alot of tanking, I think BIGPAT is the CO.

If you're serious about tanking, you may want to contact the LTARs (http://www.ltar.org/forum/index.php).

Would recommend the LTARs if you tank for the most part.
