I was wondering if someone could shed some light on how kills are awarded in a Snapshot. In this case I would have figured that the LOG would say "Shot down by Grape" under Longdist's event log. I cannot confirm that I shot him down, since he dropped below my cowling before I could get a solid guns solution and seemingly went under land...No explosion. I flew right over and then lost half of my wing to his buddy who was coming to clear his six. I think I did get some hits on him before he disappeared. Does that mean there was a disco? Any thoughts? I was not recording as I should have so there is no video to review, sorry. Oh, and :salute to who ever that was that chopped off my left wing. I still made it back to the airfield :rock

Generally a disco causes that.

Looks to me like the log confirmed it...

Vanished without a trace is supposed to be for a disco noted in the raw logs. Apparently, Grape got some hits into Longdist and then Longdist disco'd. Upon which Grape is awarded the kill in HTC's logs and HTC's log report a disco for Longdist.
