About 15 years ago I saw a vid-clip of a military cargo plane landing with gear failure (one of the rear wheels). Pilot brought the back down first with the weight entirely on the good wheel, then brought the nose down.
For some reason I thought it was a c5, but those have two sets of back wheels, not one set, correct? So it wouldn't have been that. Maybe a c130, but I thought it was much bigger.
Been looking on liveleak & youtube but haven't pegged the right key words to find it. Anyone familiar?

TNT had a fairly recent televised event:

This other incident from (the original) Piedmont is rather popular on the internet:

I don't recall ever seeing a similar video with a military airplane like you describe. There are some KC-135 videos and C-130 videos floating about but it's nothing I've seen. Good luck.

In the lifetime service of the C-141, twenty-one aircraft have been destroyed. By comparison, the USAF has lost over 85 C-130 aircraft and 277 F-16’s.
They have some interesting ones on there.
Didn't find a video on the web, but there is a video:
"MAC 249, What Are Your Intentions?"
[U.S. Air Force:
Produced by 1352nd AVS/DOPV under contract with Aerospace Audiovisual Service MAC for U.S. Air Force
607704DF.]
Running time: 20 mm. 30 sees.
An examination of aircrew coordination and teamwork is presented in this training film which can be easily adapted for use with commercial pilots. The Crew of a C-141 Starlifter is confronted with a partially retracted landing gear problem upon takeoff for a trip to New Zealand. At several points during the flight the aviators must confront and solve problems associated with the broken gear.. and the viewer is asked what he would do as well. Because of the complexity of the problem there are numerous alternatives that must be considered, along with the need for acquiring additional information and keeping mindful of fuel-burn in relation to the targeted airport destination. There are natural breaks in the film that allow the CRM coordinator to discuss with seminar participants what they would do if they were the crew aboard the C-I 41. The results of those discussions can then be compared with the actual decisions reached (and results achieved) by the Starlifter aviators as they attempt to complete their mission successfully.

Thanks for the posts guys ~ nope, it's none of the ones shown so far.
Because he landed with the weight on the good wheels on one side in the back the wheel didn't collapse.
I first saw it probably 15 years ago, so it's at least that old.

I saw a 737 do this, the guy actually does a touch and go to see if he can get other wheel un jammed, preetty good flying he would probably pwn at AH

I was onboard for a C-130 landing back in 86 in Cyprus were we only had indicators for one side down and locked. We manually lowered the port side but still didn't show it locked so we landed as you described, kept all the weight on the starboard mains and as we got slower levelled and touched the port mains. We were lucky, they were down and locked but it made for a long and cold next leg of our flight back to UK.
With having thse U/C problems we were advised to rtb lower and slower with gear down to avoid a similar situation, our normal five hour flight then lasted for over eight hours.

Hi Tom, I sure did. I sent the reply by email. If she didn't get it, it probably went into her spam box. I was very thankful for her message :) I'd be happy to send my email again if she didn't get it =)

It did :) I don't remember if it had one set of spinny things on each side or two.
I'm so thankful we speak the same language! I knew just what you were talking about when you said "spinny things!" That's what I call them too! :)
