Title: X52 throttle mouse
Post by: LCCajun on March 06, 2009, 10:58:04 PM
Hey guys I am not sure if this goes here. I just got the x52 pro. Well, I was wondering if there was a way to use the mouse on the throttle instead of my wireless mouse. I have been searching but couldn't find any way to map it as the mouse for ingame. I would really love to get rid of my wireless mouse, if I could use the mouse on my throttle. Any help would be appreciated <S> thanks.

No need to use the programming software to use the mouse in game.

LC be careful when using the SST programing software I had all kind of issues with it and I have talked to others that had issues with it also. And I'm not talking about Game issues I'm talking about computer issues in general.

I was using the SST software but got rid of it.  The stick pinky switch became a shift key and a couple of buttons on the throttle didn't work.

My mouse "mini-stick" on the throttle works without the SST software -- even when not in game.  I use it for scrolling around the map, etc.  Even works in windows.  I had to delete all of the SST software and the drivers for the X52 and then reinstall the latest from their website.

When you install the SST software, remember to go into the control panel and disable the clutch function.  That will free up those buttons that you thought weren't working.  The SST software is required to get the mouse to work.  I have it installed with no issues, go to the Saitek website to make sure you have the latest version, the stick doesn't ship with it.
