Title: Rooks and 8th Air Force
Post by: fudgums on March 07, 2009, 10:56:00 AM: The 8th Air Force will not and never will be participating on the Rooks side ever again.

After allegations against the 8th by members of the rook country were said about the 8th.

The allegations were down right wrong and disrespectful to the original pilots of the 8th.

We are very disappointed that we will be leaving the rooks but it was necessary.

I will not discuss what was said about the 8th.

Yeah...Obviously. Either we weren't on-line. Weren't in that arena. Dont listen to 200. Or simply dont give a hoot! I'm not paying $16 a month to keep current with your 8'th air force soap opera. Nobody is except you.

After talking to your CO today I won't miss his talk on how bombing buildings is very productive and how proud he is that he mainly goes for factories because that is what the 8th did and it's what he does best. No disrespect to the original 8th because that was a required duty at that time but please wake him up let him smell the coffee, it's a game he needs to get over it.

A little over-dramatic in my opinion. To blame an entire country for allegations of unknown reasons is like blaming the US for my gray hair. Just plain silly and a total whine-a-thon from a kid... :cry
