Howdy folks!
You are probably familiar with my name as most of you have received the system message, "You shot down Schlitz" or "You shot down Schlitz for the 10th time". Anyhoo, I've been playing for a month and have lots to learn. I fly the A6M for the most part, but I want to learn the F4U.
Over and out.

Welcome Aboard Schlitz.

:salute I'm glad to see a new guy that doesn't fly a spitfire. :) There's several really good hog pilots in the game that I'm sure wouldn't mind giving you some Corsair tips. Good luck and welcome to the addiction :salute

Schlitz, are you asking to learn the F4U through instruction?
If so, I have a few guys that are pur hog pilots that would be excellent in teaching you. Let me know.

Welcome to the wonderful, wacky world of AH2.
You might try flying the FM-2 as a transitional plane between the Zeke & Corsair. It's a bit light on ammo and speed but can turn very well. If you're married you might encourage your wife to find a few new hobbies :D

Welcome to the rest of your life. I'd find a trainer to learn the F4U, I learned it on my own and it was long painful process :).

Good idea. Schlitz go here http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/ and look up TC (Tequila Chaser) He's a spot on Corsair pilot.
Look for the Trainer Roster at the bottom of the slide-down menu on the left side of screen.

SEraider,
I could use all the help I can get. Just let me know the best time to do the training.
Whiteman,
Sounds like a good idea. I'll check it out.
Max,
I'll give the Wildcat a whirl. I like the look of that plane anyways.
Thanx to all the rest for the warm welcome.

Hey Hey Hey
Have you been through initiation yet?
-
Welcome Schlitz. :salute You're not married or hope to stay married I hope. :D

Not married yet. Gonna tie the knot in summer with GF. She's cool with it. She is working on her Masters, so it keeps me out of her hair while she does school work. She prefers I stay home rather than hit the bars.

welcome! this game becomes a part o you quickly

welcome schlitz, You have gotten some poor guidence so far. Fact is, if your married, you should also retain a divorce attorney. Maybe do that right after you take the "advice" to have her "find a few hobbies of her own" never fly a la-7..never fly a spit 16......most of all read, and have a blast. Oh yeah, NEVER ever shoot Klink down, you should be ok. :D

FRESH MEAT :t I think you should find a plane and stick with it bud, F4U aint bad but I would say go with a better climber because the rope a dope is gunna be your friend. If you want a sqaud, Pigs on the Wing is glad to take fresh pilots, you will be on the deack team your first few months but after that its just a great time (kidding about deacking I got it) We will help you progress through the game and try to make the hard part of getting shot down for a couple months go by alil faster jst pm me my ingame name is Cassidy :salute

seek out this guy named mtnman. He's in a squad called the ensign eliminators and they fly F4us like an eager prom date after 15 schlitzes.
-
ACM works the same in all planes. The biggest difference between planes is "feel" (how much elevator before stall, rudder ability, torque, roll rate, etc) and that is acquired naturally by flying the plane religiously. There is no secret to any plane though, it's pretty much all the same with some very minor things here and there.

If it gets ugly, I could always get her an account. She has her own P.C.
