Title: double fireing 5" guns
Post by: TheZohan on March 09, 2009, 11:29:22 AM
if you hold the trigger down and tap the backspace key to change from AA to HE the gun will fire AA and then a HE shell consectively. if your on the double 5 inches you can shoot 4 shells in the same manner.

Its been reported before but you should realize that the trajectory is not the same for both rounds and one is a complete waste of ammo.  :devil

It works very well against towns, bases and GV's. Sounds like one is having way too much fun when done right.  :aok

If you rapidly change the ammo types too fast, you will fire one round in the direction the gun is pointing, and the next parallel to the direction the ship is facing.
